Can I delete my chat history and account on AskAI.free?

Two levels of deletion:

• Per-chat: open your account dashboard, find the chat, click delete. The chat and its messages are gone immediately.
• Full account: email us with your account email and the request "delete my account". We confirm via the same email, then within 30 days we permanently delete all chats, saved prompts, referral records and the account row itself. Backups containing your data are rotated out within 90 days.

If you have an active subscription, cancellation happens automatically as part of the deletion, we don't charge a card we're about to lose access to.

What deletion does and doesn't cover. Deleting a chat removes the conversation and its messages from the live database immediately; it stops appearing in your dashboard and can't be recovered by support. Account deletion additionally removes your saved prompts, share links (shared URLs become 404s), and the account record itself. What we keep: invoice and payment records that tax law requires us to retain, held by Stripe rather than in your product data.

Two practical tips before you delete. First, export anything you might want later, prompt templates you refined, useful answers, receipts, because once the deletion completes there is no undo. Second, if your concern is one sensitive conversation rather than the service itself, per-chat deletion gets you there without losing your history, subscription or referral credits.
