Upload the person

What Counts as an Outfit Image, and What Gets Refused
Every pair of uploads is checked before anything renders. The check exists for one reason: this tool changes clothes, and it will not be used to merge two people into a picture.
Accepted as an outfit
- Flat lays. A dress, top or full look laid out on a plain surface, the way shops photograph stock.
- Garments on a hanger or mannequin. Shape and drape are already visible, which helps the fit.
- Product and catalogue photos. Including on-model shots, as long as the clothing is plainly the subject.
- Single pieces. A jacket, a shirt, a skirt or a pair of trousers on its own. Only that layer changes.
Refused before rendering
- A second person. A portrait, a selfie or a headshot in the outfit slot is refused. Two people are never combined into one image.
- Group photos. Either slot. The person image must contain exactly one person.
- Nudity, underwear, lingerie and swimwear. Both uploads are screened, and so is the rendered result.
- Images with no wearable garment. Shoes alone, accessories, fabric swatches and screenshots of text are sent back with a note.

Why the Result Looks Like Your Photo, Not a Stock Model

Photos That Give the Cleanest Outfit Swap
The AI can only dress what it can see. Most disappointing renders trace back to one of the two uploads rather than to the tool.
- Show the body, not just the face. A head-and-shoulders crop leaves nowhere for a dress to go. Waist-up for tops, full length for dresses, coats and trousers.
- Wear something simple in the person photo. A plain fitted top and trousers give the cleanest base. Bulky layers leave a silhouette the new garment has to fight.
- Use the whole garment in the outfit image. A cropped sleeve or a folded hem forces the AI to guess the rest. Shop product photos are ideal because nothing is hidden.
- Match the view. A front-facing person and a front-facing garment agree with each other. A back-view jacket on a front-facing photo forces a guess.
- Say what to keep. Swapping only the top? Write keep the jeans in the instruction box, and the AI leaves the rest of the outfit alone.
- Sharpen a soft photo first. A small or grainy selfie gains a lot from a pass through the AI Image Enhancer before the outfit goes on.
Rules the Clothes Changer Enforces Before Anything Renders
Both images pass an automatic adult-content check the moment they arrive, and a second check confirms the roles: exactly one person in the person slot, a wearable garment and no second person in the outfit slot. Underwear, lingerie and swimwear are refused as outfits. The rendered photo is screened once more before it is shown. None of these refusals costs you anything.
Use images you have the right to use. Dressing yourself, or a friend who has asked you to, is what the tool is for. Uploading a stranger, a public figure or anyone who has not agreed is not, and a product photo saved for a personal try-on is not a licence to republish it.
Uploads are downscaled, screened, rendered and then discarded. The result is kept for an hour on a guest visit so you can download it, and in My Files for as long as you subscribe on Pro and Max. What does the AI Clothes Changer actually do?
It takes two images, a photo of a person and an image of an outfit, and returns the person wearing that outfit. The face, hair, pose, body shape, background and lighting come from the person photo; the colour, pattern, fabric and cut come from the outfit image. Only the clothing changes.
Why does the outfit image have to be clothing rather than a person?
Because this is a clothes changer, not a face or body swap. Every pair of uploads is checked before rendering: the person image must contain exactly one person, and the outfit image must clearly show a wearable garment. A portrait, a selfie or a group photo in the outfit slot is refused, as is any attempt to combine two people into one picture.
Can I use a photo of a model wearing the outfit?
Yes, as long as the garment is clearly the subject, the way a shop's product photo is. A full-length catalogue shot works well. What is refused is an image where the person, not the clothing, is the point: a headshot, a selfie, a crowd.
Is nudity or underwear allowed?
No. Both uploads pass an automatic adult-content check before anything is sent to the model, and underwear, lingerie and swimwear are refused in the outfit slot. The rendered result is checked again before it is shown. A refused upload costs nothing.
Is the AI Clothes Changer free?

How accurate is the garment transfer?
Colour, print, neckline, sleeve length and hem length transfer reliably when the outfit image is sharp and shows the whole garment. Very fine text, tiny logos and complex layered outfits can drift. The custom instruction box lets you steer details, such as leaving the jacket open or tucking the shirt in.
Can I change only the top, or only the trousers?
Yes. Upload just that piece as the outfit image and the AI replaces the matching part of the person's clothing, keeping the rest. Adding a note such as keep the jeans makes the intent explicit.
What happens to the photos I upload?
They are downscaled, screened, sent for rendering and then discarded. The result is kept so you can download it: for an hour on a guest visit, and in My Files while you subscribe on Pro and Max. Nothing you upload is sold, shared or used to train AI models.
Can I use the result commercially?
The image is yours to use, including for listings and lookbooks, provided you have the rights to both source images and the consent of the person in the photo. Do not present a rendered outfit as a photograph of a product that does not exist.
