Can I share a chat conversation publicly?
Yes. Open any saved chat and click Share. You get a public URL like askai.free/s/abc123 that anyone can open without signing in. They see the full conversation, read-only, they can't keep the chat going or modify your version.
Use it for:
- Showing colleagues the AI's answer to a tricky question
- Sharing prompt experiments on Twitter / Slack / Discord
- Embedding examples in blog posts or docs
Shared chats are noindex by default, they don't appear in Google. You can revoke the share link from the same panel; the URL becomes a 404 immediately.
Details that matter before you share. The link is unlisted rather than password-protected: anyone who has the URL can open it, so treat it like an unlisted YouTube video, fine for colleagues and social posts, wrong for genuinely confidential content. The snapshot includes the whole conversation from the first message, not just the part you're proud of, so scan the top of the thread for anything personal before posting the link publicly.
The share captures the conversation as it stands. If you keep chatting afterwards in your own version, viewers of the link don't see the new messages, which makes shares safe to hand out mid-project. And because viewers don't need an account, shared chats double as a lightweight demo: many users' first exposure to a model's answer quality is a colleague's shared link.
