Can I save prompts I use often on AskAI.free?
Yes. The saved prompts feature lets you build a personal library of prompts you reuse, your favourite system prompt, an email-formatting template, a code-review checklist, whatever you find yourself typing repeatedly.
Add a prompt from your account dashboard. To use one inside a chat, click the prompts dropdown next to the input box and pick from your library. The prompt populates the input, edit it before sending if you want. Browse the prompt library for reusable starting points.
Your prompts are private to your account, sync across devices, and unlimited in number. This is a paid-tier feature; the free tier doesn't include the library.
What makes a prompt worth saving is repeatable structure. Good candidates: a meeting-summary format ("decisions, action items with owners, open questions"), a code-review checklist, a brand-voice instruction block, a customer-reply template with your escalation rules baked in. Write placeholders into them, like {audience} and {goal}, so each reuse reminds you what to fill in before sending.
Saved prompts are also the practical way to get consistent persona behaviour without developer access to a system prompt: start your saved template with a role line ("You are a senior contract lawyer reviewing for the buyer's side...") and every conversation that starts from it inherits the same framing. Teams use this to keep ten people's outputs sounding like one company.
