Do you train AI models on my conversations?
Quick answer: No. AskAI.free never uses your prompts or conversations to train AI models — and our upstream providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) honour the same opt-out via API.
No. AskAI.free does not train AI models on your conversations, and we don't sell your data to anyone who would.
When you ask a question, the prompt is sent to the relevant AI provider — OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude, Google for Gemini, etc. — over their API. API traffic is governed by stricter terms than the consumer products (chat.openai.com, claude.ai). Specifically:
- OpenAI does not train on API requests by default.
- Anthropic does not train on API requests by default.
- Google does not train on Gemini API requests sent through paid keys.
We store your chat history on our servers so you can access it across devices, but only you (signed into your account) can read it. Anonymous questions aren't tied to any identity.
